ArnoCorps – “I’m Ballsy” (play)

Here’s one from the Arnold-inspired bay-native skate punk fools Arnocorps. If you’ve ever seen them live, they look straight out of Predator or Commando or something.

The Antidote.

Antidote – “Got me on the Line”

Not the punk band from Holland. NYHC. And a blueprint for that style at that. I wouldn’t call them obscure, but lesser known of the millions of bands during the influential era of Hardcore. And it stands out in that cesspool, so there you go. Download the classic “Got Me On the Line” here for free.

Koro – “It’s OK”

The first wave of American Hardcore. It was great. It was then. Having acknowledged that, I brushed up on a free track this morning from Tennessee’s Koro, who, like many influential fuck-ups of said movement, only existed for a few years and are ultimately highly obscure. They shared the same kind of style as maybe Poison Idea or Deep Wound.

Survival does DIY

Survival- “Survive”

Survival recently recorded one of their new compositions at a practice session using mediocre hard AND software. This is amph-ed up, oppressed urban attitude at its realist in 2010. They couldn’t even record with the second guitar player as he’s in jail for the next 5 months.
