Earthless are San Diego instrumental-power-psyche. This is like, you’re on an airplane, frying your balls off, on your way to Japan and its starts to crash. Those last 5 minutes of crazy Jap screaming, distorted tessellation visuals are “Godspeed.”
The majority of college students across this nation serve the recording industry as a bridge between their baby-boomer parents’ heavy wallets and pro-dope paupers that produce the songs. So, when I came across this band Dirty Sweet, their look showed the potential for badassness. Upon download, I realized that they suck and their only existence is to confuse this generations dumbass demographic of midwest university-goers, isolated from anything inovative or culturally stimulating (Wal Mart shoppers), into thinking this is some kinda new rendition of Rock N Roll. This band Sucks.
So, Birdman records is/was essentially a simplistic indie label brainchild of Warner Bros. Records A&R vice-president David Katznelson. Without much support to around for even the most profitable group on the roster, Apache, they’re parting ways and it has become obvious that this indie’s going under.
Apache’s on the up though, switching over to Burger Records for their next release, also putting up a weirdo video for their song “Hospital Bed” up. It features vocalist Omar bedridden from a recent, actual, I might add, hospital visit.
Attitude Adjustment. Well known for ripping up the bay in the heyday of crossover thrash. Less known for the “Out of Hand” record. Rare, out of print, hard to find, all of the above, this showcased AA’s at their heaviest. Like, Poison Idea gone Exodus or something.
